Blackjack is played with eight fifty-two-card decks.
Upon wagering, you and the dealer (the
computer) are dealt two cards to start. If you go over 21 this is called going BUST and you automatically lose the hand. Cards are worth their face value with the exception of Kings, Queens, and Jacks which are each worth 10 and Aces which are
worth either 1 or 11. Blackjack is when your hand contains an Ace and a card with a value of ten. No re-splitting of cards allowed. In some Casinos the Dealer is dealt two cards but only one is turned so that it's value can be revealed. Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards.
