Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. If the value of your hand is closer to 21 than that of the dealer, you win. It is the strongest hand in Blackjack, and automatically stands. There are two ways to determine the table bet limit for a specific table. Only one additional card allowed on each Ace when splitting a pair of Aces.
The Dealer is also dealt two cards but only one card is face up. If the dealer's hand and the player's hand are both under 21 the hands are compared. The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand. If your hand does not go Bust (exceeds 21) and still does not equal 21 you may continue to request additional cards until your hand goes Bust, reaches 21 or you decide to Stand. You play both hands as separate hands. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
