Blackjack is a game where the player competes against the dealer.
If the Dealer's hand exceeds 21, it is bust, and you automatically win.
The dealer must stand on a hard or soft 17 or higher and draw on a hard or soft 16 or lower. Picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) count as ten. You may draw up to nine additional cards to make a hand of eleven cards, provided the value of your hand does not exceed 21. If you receive an Ace and a Ten value card as your first two cards, you have Blackjack.
The amount wagered per hand may be increased or decreased by
placing the mouse on the stack that you wish to add or subtract to your bet.
Each time you click the left mouse button you will add a chip from that pile to
your planned wager amount. If your initial two cards do not total 21 then you may request additional cards, called a Hit. The dealer must hit on all hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or more. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
