It is a game between you and the dealer. Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks. Your hand cannot be beaten, only matched. If your hand does not exceed 21 after receiving eleven cards, your hand automatically stands, and the Dealer plays its hand.
The player may not split a split hand. All face cards - Kings, Queens and Jacks, have a value of ten and the Aces can have a value of 1 or 11. You neither win nor lose. The Hit button deals you another card. The STAND button ends your hand and moves game play to the next available hand – your next hand or the completion of the dealer's hand. You can split two cards with the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours, by clicking the Split button.
