Blackjack is a game where the player competes against the dealer.
Classic Blackjack is played with one standard deck of 52 playing cards that is shuffled before each game. If you go over 21 this is called going BUST and you automatically lose the hand. In this version of Blackjack, you can only bet one hand at a time. The Dealer is dealt two cards but only one card is face up. The card that remains face down is called the 'hole card'. The Dealer stands on all hands with the value of 17 or more and draws on all hands with the value of 16 or less.
These may be represented as either a + and - symbol or up and down arrows. If he has Blackjack, the hand will be a Push (Standoff) Likewise by clicking on the right mouse button you
can decrease your planned wager amount. The dealer must hit on all hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or more. The Stand button, sometimes called the Stay button, ends your hand and moves the game onto the next phase be it the completion of the dealer's hand or of your second hand in the case of a Split. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
