Classic Blackjack is played with one standard deck of 52 playing cards that is shuffled before each game. 8 52-card decks are used. Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. Dealer stands on all 17's. It is the strongest hand in Blackjack, and automatically stands. It cannot be beaten, only matched. You can take Insurance if the Dealer's first card is an Ace.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push and you are paid out your original bet amount. Insurance only covers your original hand. If your initial two cards do not total 21 then you may request additional cards, called a Hit. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. The STAND button ends your hand and moves game play to the next available hand – your next hand or the completion of the dealer's hand. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
