Blackjack is played with eight fifty-two-card decks.
The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going Bust. If you are dealt an Ace and a card with a value of 10, you have Blackjack. Individual tables may have a higher minimum bet and a lower maximum bet. If you beat the Dealer with Blackjack you are paid out at odds of 3 to 2. The card that remains face down is called the Hole card.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push and you are paid out your original bet amount. If the dealer's hand and the player's hand are both under 21 the hands are compared. The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. If your first two cards have the same point value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet. If you place a wager that is lower than the
minimum table bet limit, your bet amount will be automatically adjusted to the
minimum bet amount.
