Blackjack is a game of skill and chance between you and the Dealer.
Upon wagering, you and the dealer (the
computer) are dealt two cards to start. This version of Blackjack is played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled before each game. Cards are worth their face value with the exception of Kings, Queens, and Jacks which are each worth 10 and Aces which are
worth either 1 or 11. Any combination of cards that contains an Ace card and whose value does not exceed 21 is referred to as a ‘soft hand’. After 2 or 3 seconds a box will appear identifying the
table number and the minimum and maximum bet.
The object of Blackjack is to obtain a hand with the highest possible value without exceeding 21. If you beat the dealer with a BLACKJACK you are paid out at 3 to 2. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. Other keyboard
shortcuts are summarized below. If you place a wager that is lower than the
minimum table bet limit, your bet amount will be automatically adjusted to the
minimum bet amount.
