Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games.
The game is played on a semi-circular table with 5 or 7 playing positions. You do not need to specify which value the
Ace has as it's always assumed to have the value that makes the best hand. Aces count as one or eleven, whichever is to the Player's advantage. Each hand played is a separate wager against the dealer. You are paid your original bet.
If you are dealt an Ace and a 10 or face card this is called a BLACKJACK and your hand will STAND automatically. If the Dealer gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire bet - both the original and double or split amounts - is lost.
If you are dealt a pair you may SPLIT your hand. This means that your pair is divided into two separate hands with two separate wagers. You can HIT as many times as you wish until your hand goes bust or you decide to STAND. You play both hands as separate hands.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
