All face cards - Jacks, Kings and Queens, have a value of 10. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks. Our casino version of blackjack is played using European Blackjack rules and four 52-card decks that are shuffled after each hand. Aces count as one or eleven, whichever is to the Player's advantage. If you receive an Ace and a Ten value card as your first two cards, you have Blackjack.
After each round, used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled.
Insurance costs half your original bet. The DEAL button starts a new game of blackjack. If the player doubles and the dealer's first card is of value 11, and the dealer gets blackjack, the player loses both his bets. If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an Ace or a card of value 10. You can split two cards with the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours, by clicking the Split button.
