Blackjack is a game of skill and chance between you and the Dealer.
The deck is re-shuffled after each hand. If the total value of your cards is closer to 21 than the dealer’s, you win as much as you had wagered. If you beat the Dealer with Blackjack you are paid out at odds of 3 to 2. All hands that purchased INSURANCE win if the dealer has a BLACKJACK – you will break even; if the dealer doesn't have a BLACKJACK the INSURANCE bet loses.
