It is played with between one and six standard decks of cards.
The dealer must stand on a hard or soft 17 or higher and draw on a hard or soft 16 or lower. Dealer stands on all 17's. You will be dealt two cards. Any combination of cards that contains an Ace card and whose value does not exceed 21 is referred to as a ‘soft hand’. All hands that are dealt an Ace and a 10 or a face card win, unless the dealer also has a BLACKJACK – a PUSH. The Dealer stands on all hands with the value of 17 or more and draws on all hands with the value of 16 or less.
The player may not split a split hand. The DEAL button starts a new game of blackjack. If the player's hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer's hand is closer to 21 the player loses. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
