Face cards have a value of 10 and the Aces a value of one or eleven. During a game of Blackjack cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. If you are dealt an Ace and a card with a value of 10, you have Blackjack. Dealer stands on all 17's. The
value of a hand is the sum of the values of the individual cards. No re-splitting of cards allowed. When your hand and the Dealer's hand tie, it is called a Push.
The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand.
If the dealer's hand total and the player's hand total are the same than the hand is a tie or PUSH and the player's bet is returned. If you beat the dealer with a BLACKJACK you are paid out at 3 to 2. The Deal button starts a new game of Blackjack. A second wager – equal to your original wager – is automatically placed on your second hand. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination.
The SPLIT button is only available if the first two cards dealt are a pair.
