The cards are dealt clockwise from a dealing "shoe. The deck is re-shuffled after each hand. Face cards (the Jack, Queen and King) and 10s all have a value of ten. It cannot be beaten, only matched. Blackjack beats a score of 21.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push and you are paid out your original bet amount. All face cards - Kings, Queens and Jacks, have a value of ten and the Aces can have a value of 1 or 11. If the player's hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer's hand is closer to 21 the player loses. If your hand does not go Bust (exceeds 21) and still does not equal 21 you may continue to request additional cards until your hand goes Bust, reaches 21 or you decide to Stand. The STAND button ends your hand and moves game play to the next available hand – your next hand or the completion of the dealer's hand. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
