The object of the game is to draw cards totaling closer to 21 than the Dealer draws without going over 21. The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going Bust. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck to 6 such decks. Individual tables may have a higher minimum bet and a lower maximum bet. Only one additional card allowed on each Ace when splitting a pair of Aces. Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards.
If you are dealt an Ace and a 10 or face card this is called a BLACKJACK and your hand will STAND automatically. The DEAL button starts a new game of blackjack. The Hit button deals you another card. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination. You then proceed to draw cards.
