If the Dealer's hand exceeds 21, it is bust, and you automatically win. Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. Blackjack is when your hand contains an Ace and a card with a value of ten. Only one additional card allowed on each Ace when splitting a pair of Aces. All hands that purchased INSURANCE win if the dealer has a BLACKJACK – you will break even; if the dealer doesn't have a BLACKJACK the INSURANCE bet loses.
If you are dealt an Ace and a 10 or face card this is called a BLACKJACK and your hand will STAND automatically. The bet size can only be changed between games. The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination.
