The object of Blackjack is for the total of your cards to be closer to 21 than the dealer’s cards, without exceeding 21. If you go over 21 this is called going BUST and you automatically lose the hand. Our version of Blackjack is played exclusively with a single 52-card deck, as this offers you the best possible chances of winning. Your hand cannot be beaten, only matched. The Dealer will be dealt one card.
After each round, used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled.
If the dealer's hand total and the player's hand total are the same than the hand is a tie or PUSH and the player's bet is returned. The bet size can only be changed between games. If the player's hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer's hand is closer to 21 the player loses. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination. You then proceed to draw cards.
