The object of the game is to draw cards totaling closer to 21 than the Dealer draws without going over 21. Blackjack always beats any other hand with a value of 21. Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. In this version of Blackjack, you can only bet one hand at a time. Picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) count as ten. No re-splitting of cards allowed. The Doubling bet is equal to your original bet.
After each round, used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push and you are paid out your original bet amount. If he has Blackjack, the hand will be a Push (Standoff) The HIT button tells the dealer to deal you another card. The Stand button, sometimes called the Stay button, ends your hand and moves the game onto the next phase be it the completion of the dealer's hand or of your second hand in the case of a Split.
