If the Dealer's hand exceeds 21, it is bust, and you automatically win. The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going bust. You do not need to specify which value the
Ace has as it's always assumed to have the value that makes the best hand. BUST Hands: All hands that exceed 21 lose, even if the dealer also goes BUST. If the dealer goes BUST but the player's hand is under 21 the player wins. Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push and you are paid out your original bet amount. Insurance only covers your original hand. The HIT button tells the dealer to deal you another card. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. The Stand button, sometimes called the Stay button, ends your hand and moves the game onto the next phase be it the completion of the dealer's hand or of your second hand in the case of a Split. If you place a wager that is lower than the
minimum table bet limit, your bet amount will be automatically adjusted to the
minimum bet amount.
