In Blackjack, before you are dealt any cards you have the option of making a $1 side bet that allows you to participate in additional payouts.
Face cards have a value of 10 and the Aces a value of one or eleven. Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. Dealer stands on all 17's. Blackjack beats a score of 21. The Dealer stands on all hands with the value of 17 or more and draws on all hands with the value of 16 or less.
Insurance costs half your original bet. The player may double after splitting. It does not cover any second hands on a split, or a double bet. If your hand does not go Bust (exceeds 21) and still does not equal 21 you may continue to request additional cards until your hand goes Bust, reaches 21 or you decide to Stand. If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an Ace or a card of value 10.
