The object of the game is to draw cards totaling closer to 21 than the Dealer draws without going over 21. If you go over 21 this is called going BUST and you automatically lose the hand. The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going bust. It is the strongest hand in Blackjack, and automatically stands. If the hands are of equal value the deal is a push and your money is returned. An Ace adopts the value most beneficial for your hand.
If the dealer's hand total and the player's hand total are the same than the hand is a tie or PUSH and the player's bet is returned. All face cards - Kings, Queens and Jacks, have a value of ten and the Aces can have a value of 1 or 11. The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case.
