The object of the game is to draw cards totaling closer to 21 than the Dealer draws without going over 21.
The dealer must stand on a hard or soft 17 or higher and draw on a hard or soft 16 or lower. If the value of your hand is closer to 21 than that of the dealer, you win. The
value of a hand is the sum of the values of the individual cards. You are dealt one card and your hand automatically stands. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts. All hands that purchased INSURANCE win if the dealer has a BLACKJACK – you will break even; if the dealer doesn't have a BLACKJACK the INSURANCE bet loses.
Alternatively, you can click on a specific table. The player may double after splitting. The HIT button tells the dealer to deal you another card. The Stand button, sometimes called the Stay button, ends your hand and moves the game onto the next phase be it the completion of the dealer's hand or of your second hand in the case of a Split.
