Upon wagering, you and the dealer (the
computer) are dealt two cards to start. This version of Blackjack is played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled before each game.
The dealer must stand on a hard or soft 17 or higher and draw on a hard or soft 16 or lower. Cards 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 count at face value. The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
