The objective of Blackjack is to accumulate cards that add up closer to 21 than that of the dealer’s cards, without going over 21. Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. Dealer stands on all 17's. The
value of a hand is the sum of the values of the individual cards. Any combination of cards that contains an Ace card and whose value does not exceed 21 is referred to as a ‘soft hand’. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts. The Dealer will announce Blackjack, pay you one and one-half times the bet, then remove those cards before acting on any other hands.
These may be represented as either a + and - symbol or up and down arrows.
Each time you click the left mouse button you will add a chip from that pile to
your planned wager amount. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. The Stand button, sometimes called the Stay button, ends your hand and moves the game onto the next phase be it the completion of the dealer's hand or of your second hand in the case of a Split.
The SPLIT button is only available if the first two cards dealt are a pair.
