Upon wagering, you and the dealer (the
computer) are dealt two cards to start. During a game of Blackjack cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. The deck is re-shuffled after each hand. You do not need to specify which value the
Ace has as it's always assumed to have the value that makes the best hand. It cannot be beaten, only matched. At the casino floor level, you can place your mouse pointer over a specific table.
You can split two cards that have the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours. The DEAL button starts a new game of blackjack. The HIT button tells the dealer to deal you another card. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination.
The SPLIT button is only available if the first two cards dealt are a pair.
