» Blackjack The object of BlackJack is to obtain a hand with the highest possible value without exceeding 21.
Upon wagering, you and the dealer (the
computer) are dealt two cards to start. The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going Bust. You do not need to specify which value the
Ace has as it's always assumed to have the value that makes the best hand. You will be dealt two cards. If the dealer goes BUST but the player's hand is under 21 the player wins. The Increase and Decrease buttons are used to adjust the size of your bet.
The Dealer is also dealt two cards but only one card is face up. A new window will open displaying the minimum and maximum bet. The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand. If your hand does not go Bust (exceeds 21) and still does not equal 21 you may continue to request additional cards until your hand goes Bust, reaches 21 or you decide to Stand. The Stand button, sometimes called the Stay button, ends your hand and moves the game onto the next phase be it the completion of the dealer's hand or of your second hand in the case of a Split. Click on the OK button to complete the update.
