The game is played on a semi-circular table with 5 or 7 playing positions. 8 52-card decks are used. You do not need to specify which value the
Ace has as it's always assumed to have the value that makes the best hand. If you beat the Dealer with Blackjack you are paid out at odds of 3 to 2. Each hand played is a separate wager against the dealer.
The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push and you are paid out your original bet amount. The bet size can only be changed between games. If the player's hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer's hand is closer to 21 the player loses. The dealer must hit on all hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or more. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
