The cards are dealt clockwise from a dealing "shoe. If you are dealt an Ace and a card with a value of 10, you have Blackjack. Individual tables may have a higher minimum bet and a lower maximum bet. No re-splitting of cards allowed. If you receive an Ace and a Ten value card as your first two cards, you have Blackjack.
An Ace and eight will add up to 19 but if the player chooses to take another card that would cause the hand's value to exceed 21 the Ace will revert to a value of 1.
The Dealer is also dealt two cards but only one card is face up. If the Dealer gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire bet - both the original and double or split amounts - is lost. If you split a pair of Aces and then draw a card with a denomination of 10, this is not Blackjack, although it has a value of 21. If the Dealer makes 21 with 3 or more cards, the Players Blackjack wins. The STAND button ends your hand and moves game play to the next available hand – your next hand or the completion of the dealer's hand. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
