Blackjack is played with 4 decks of cards – with the jokers removed – that are shuffled after the completion of every game.
The object of the game is to draw cards totaling closer to 21 than the Dealer draws without going over 21. If you go over 21 this is called going BUST and you automatically lose the hand. Aces can be valued at either one or eleven;
if counting the Ace as eleven would put the hand over twenty-one, the Ace is
automatically counted as one instead. You do not need to specify which value the
Ace has as it's always assumed to have the value that makes the best hand. Picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) count as ten. The Dealer will be dealt one card. Each hand played is a separate wager against the dealer.
If you are dealt an Ace and a 10 or face card this is called a BLACKJACK and your hand will STAND automatically. All face cards - Kings, Queens and Jacks, have a value of ten and the Aces can have a value of 1 or 11. The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand. You may repeat your last bet by simply
hitting the "0" button of your numeric keyboard. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination.
The SPLIT button is only available if the first two cards dealt are a pair.
