In Blackjack, aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and number cards as their face value. The amount wagered per hand may be increased or decreased by

If your initial two cards do not total 21 then you may request additional cards, called a Hit. If the player doubles and the dealer's first card is of value 11, and the dealer gets blackjack, the player loses both his bets. If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an Ace or a card of value 10.
