Blackjack is a game of skill and chance between you and the Dealer.
The game is played on a semi-circular table with 5 or 7 playing positions. This version of Blackjack is played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled before each game. All face cards - Jacks, Kings and Queens, have a value of 10. If the total value of your cards is closer to 21 than the dealer’s, you win as much as you had wagered. If you and the dealer have the same card total (17 and up) neither of you win and your bet is returned to you in a “push”. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts. Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push and you are paid out your original bet amount. Your hand is divided into two separate hands and a bet equal to your original bet is placed on the second hand. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. The STAND button ends your hand and moves game play to the next available hand – your next hand or the completion of the dealer's hand. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
